Brief info
First Lady Pamela J. Deal was born in Salisbury, Maryland to the late David Robinson and Helen P. Jones. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Omar Jones.
Pam was educated in the Wicomico County Public School system, graduating from Wicomico Senior High School before attending University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), and later earning an AA degree in Business Administration from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC).
Mrs. Deal worked for 38 years in “Corporate America” with such companies as First National Bank of Maryland, Control Data, Ceridian, EA Engineering, and T. Rowe Price. After a brief period of “retirement”, she utilized her administrative skills at UMBC.
Pam is passionate about creativity and the arts. She is a self-taught seamstress, beautician & barber, photographer, wedding planner & coordinator, and desktop publisher, among other similar talents.
As part of the local church ministries, Missionary Deal has served as a choir member & choir director; Sunday School teacher for the Primary Class; Public Relations committee member; and Photography and Video Tape Ministry coordinator.
Within the Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction, Pam Deal earned a Deaconess Missionary license from the Charles Harrison Mason Bible School; served as State Choir Member and Director; State Youth Choir Director; Adjutant Sister; and Women’s Department Executive Secretary.
Pamela Deal has been married to Elder Samuel Deal for over 45 years. Elder and Missionary Deal have two children – son, Jaraed ‘Jae’ Deal who resides outside of Los Angeles, CA, and daughter, Robyn Deal-Porter who resides outside of Atlanta, GA; one grandson – Evan; and three granddaughters – Ava, Takara & Lillian.
